San Vito Lo Capo

San Vito Lo Capo - Trapani  (Sicily)

A stretch of white sand that gently slopes to the sea, turquoise waters, current-free, a convenient location easy to reach: the beach of San Vito Lo Capo, in the province of Trapani, sprawls for three kilometers between the Zingaro Reserve and the Monte Monaco promontory. Since many years a “Green Flag Beach” (a child-friendly beach certified by pediatricians), you can use the beach for free but also rent beach umbrellas and sunbeds, and have a break for lunch or buy an ice-cream in one of the many bars and restaurants on the waterfront.

Lerici  (Liguria)

Golden shores that gently descend to the sea, ample coves, a mild, fresh microclimate, the Mediterranean scrub behind and an amazing blue sea: Lerici is one of the most acclaimed destinations in the Liguria region for a child-friendly holiday. Along the coastline are free beaches immersed in the pristine greenery, ideal for nature-lovers, alternating with beach resorts with restaurants, bars and swimming pools, particularly fit for children, where to rent beach umbrellas and sunbeds, paddleboats or canoes.

Cala Brandinchi (Sardinia)

A white dazzling beach, a shallow seabed with blue waters, fine gardens and a large pine forest: one of the most popular in Sardinia, Cala Brandinchi is the perfect beach for the little ones, who can play safely and in peace in its quiet waters. Located close to San Teodoro, in the Gallura area, protected by small dunes, the beach is like a real pool, not by chance called “Little Tahiti”. On the beach, there is a bar and you can rent beach umbrellas and sunbeds but also rafts, kayaks and paddleboats.

Cavoli - Isola d’Elba  (Tuscany)

With its clear waters, the perfect climate and the amazing cove is one of the most beautiful and popular beaches on the Elba island: the Cavoli Beach is sheltered and protected from the winds, has a very pleasant sand that does not stick to the skin, perfect for the kids to play with. It is divided in two parts by a small cliff: to the east there are most beach resorts, all with full facilities, while to the west the beach is free and fit for those looking for quietness.

Pescoluse - Salento (Puglia)

Five kilometers of white sand overlooking the Ionian Sea, a shallow seabed and sandy strips that emerge out its clear waters: the reason why the area was nicknamed “Maldives of Salento” is easily understood. Kids can play safely in its warm, quiet waters, watched by lifeguards and with any kind of service available: kiosks and restaurants by the beach, boat and raft rentals, gelaterie and hotels.

Marasusa, Tropea (Calabria)

Marasusa is one of the most beautiful beaches in Tropea. At the foot of the seaside village it has very clear sand and transparent water. Tropea sand has very thick grains that resemble micro-pebbles that make the water incredibly beautiful and transparent.

Cala Pulcino, Lampedusa (Sicily)

Cala Pulcino is located on the southern side of the island, not far from the renowned Isola dei Conigli, within a very picturesque gully. It is a blinding white sand beach, bathed by a beautiful crystal clear and transparent sea, which has all the shades of turquoise and shallow waters. The beach is also surrounded by several caves and ravines that make the landscape even more suggestive. To reach it you must follow the asphalted road that leads to Capo Ponente from the town and then continue on foot. It is more easily accessible by sea.

Chiaia di Luna, Ponza (Lazio)

Chiaia di Luna beach is located on the island of Ponza, the largest of the Pontine archipelago. It is a magnificent beach, the most spectacular and renowned of the whole archipelago, as well as the largest with 500 meters of its beach. The coast is of clear sand, very narrow and dominated by mastose vertical cliffs overlooking the sea. Closed several times due to falling rocks, the beach is now caged by a long and heavy metal mesh. Only a stretch of beach is equipped and offers some services. The sea is beautiful, of an intense, crystalline and transparent turquoise, with sandy and sloping seabed, ideal for swimming and swimming. Reaching the beach is simple directly from the port of the town, passing through a tunnel from the Roman era.

Spiaggia di San Michele, Sirolo (Marche)

The San Michele Sassi Neri beach is located not far from the town of Sirolo, right after that of the Two Sisters. It is a beautiful white pebble beach mixed with sand, set within a large pebble and rocky bay. San Michele is a long stretch of sand and gravel dominated by spectacular cliffs and Mediterranean scrub. At times free, at times equipped with bathing establishments. The northern end, more rocky, takes the name of Sassi Neri and preserves a naturalistically reserved and suggestive corner, also frequented by nudists. In summer the beach can be reached on foot from the Park of the Republic of Sirolo. The sea is very beautiful, turquoise and cobalt blue, crystal clear and transparent, with sloping backdrops, ideal for swimming and bathing.

Spiaggia della Bassona  (Emilia Romagna)

The Bassona beach in Ravenna is located in the hamlet of Fosso Ghiaia, within the Foce del Bevano Nature Reserve. It is a beautiful beach of soft golden sand, with a wild and uncontaminated charm, increased by the total lack of services and tourist facilities. The coast is wide and kilometers long, bordered everywhere by a large pine forest and, in a stretch of about 1000 meters, also by a beautiful dune system. The sea is very beautiful, blue and clear, with sloping and sandy bottoms, ideal for swimming and swimming. To reach the beach you must take the SS16, leave it at Fosso Ghiaia and then turn towards the mouth of the Bevano along a dirt road.
